Personal Experiences influenced Bröderna Lejonhjärta (The Brothers Lionheart)

Lindgren (the writer) saw the grave of two young brothers, the Fahlén brothers, in Vimmerby cemetery. She said this was when she knew she would write a story about death and two brothers.
